Introduction

Hi! My name is Mary and as mentioned in my “About Me” section I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. I just moved to Arizona this past June after my dad’s work closed their Ohio location, leaving us little to no choice to move here. But, so far I really like it! I left behind so many friends and a large family in Ohio, but I think that there will be many new opportunities for me here. Most of all, I just miss my boyfriend and brother. . . it’s hard being away from everyone.

I’m majoring in Speech Language Pathology and am excited to announce that this is my senior year! It was a very big decision for me to decide to switch schools for my senior year, but I’m pretty glad that I chose ASU. Once graduated, I hope to get into a graduate school and earn my masters in Speech. I love working with children and want to work in a school system in the future.

In my spare time I LOVE to scrapbook. I’ve actually made a career out of this passion! I’m a Creative Memories Consultant, which is a company that sells really great scrapbooking supplies. I have a couple of friends that are on my Creative Memories “team” and we all work together to share ideas and build our individual businesses. My favorite thing to do now is “digital” scrapbook. I love creating pages and/or entire books all from my laptop – no mess required! The pages look awesome too! I’ll have to upload some to share soon, but no time now. . this has been a VERY busy first week at ASU for me : )
